Emily has been performing for the last 5 years and holds a cert IV in music performance. She regularly plays gigs with her band and plays an active role in the local music industry. Emily can offer much knowledge of guitar techniques across genres including rock, metal and folk. She really enjoy the theory aspect of playing the guitar and can demonstrate how scales and modes can be practically integrated in improvisation and song writing. Outside teaching Emily works as a theatre technician and can pass on skills for live performance and how to properly look after your instrument (restringing, tuning and intonation, action and general cleaning). Her overall knowledge allows for her to cater for any students needs and can assist them in reaching their goals.
