Jim's musical journey began at the age of 14 when he first picked up the bass guitar. His passion for music quickly grew, leading him to expand his skills to guitar, drums, and keys. Jim pursued formal studies in music for his HSC, laying the foundation for his technical knowledge and performance abilities.  With over 20 years of experience playing in bands, recording, and performing live, Jim has honed his skills across a wide range of genres. His extensive background in live performance and studio recording gives him a well-rounded perspective, allowing him to provide practical, real-world insights to his students.  Jim is passionate about sharing his knowledge and helping aspiring musicians build confidence, develop their skills and reach their full potential.
