Nathan
Cooks Hill Guitar teacher

Nathan began playing guitar at the age of twelve, quickly falling in love with music and all it has to offer. He then went on to learn the bass guitar, ukulele, mandolin, banjo and accordion. Nathan has played solo and in bands across a diverse range of styles, including, rock, jazz, funk, acoustic/folk, and blues. He graduated from UON with distinction in a Bachelors of Music and Performing Arts, and is now studying a Masters of Teaching. With a wide range of musical influences, Nathan can provide information on and teach a wide range of guitar and bass techniques and is currently writing and releasing music as part of a solo folk project. He hopes he is able to pass on his love for all styles of music to his students and can encourage students to step outside of their comfort zone while still playing the tunes they love. He teaches Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Banjo and Accordion!
